A new website built by Skywalker, powered by the Digital Deputy — an AI Employee running on an on-premises AI Employee Box at the Sheriff's Office. Inmate roster refreshed every five minutes.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office website at dekalbsheriff.in.gov — designed and built by Skywalker
A modern Next.js website, a Digital Deputy AI Employee, a custom CMS for the Sheriff and his staff, and a dedicated AI Employee Box — all deployed and running today.
A complete public-safety website built on modern infrastructure. Fast, mobile-responsive, accessible, and built for the public trust the Sheriff's Office holds.
The Digital Deputy syncs the public inmate roster from jail booking data every five minutes — no manual entry, no overnight lag, no stale rosters.
Cloud Radix built a custom integration into Spillman (Motorola Solutions) — the Sheriff's jail management system. The Digital Deputy polls, parses, delimits multi-charge bookings, structures every field, and sends the result to the public database every five minutes.
Live inmate data is indexed into the site-wide search and the dedicated inmate search page. Visitors find current information the moment they need it.
The Sheriff and his staff log in and update the website themselves — with the Digital Deputy assisting on every change, every page, every post.
A dedicated AI Employee named the Digital Deputy — trained for the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, working alongside the staff on the website and the inmate data pipeline.
The Digital Deputy runs on a dedicated AI Employee Box installed inside the Sheriff's Office — data stays on Sheriff's Office hardware, on Sheriff's Office property.
When someone is booked into the DeKalb County jail, the Digital Deputy AI Employee picks up the booking record, validates it, and pushes the update to both the public inmate roster and the site-wide search index — all within five minutes. No manual data entry. No delays. No outdated information.
The same pipeline powers the dedicated inmate search page and the global search bar — so a family member, a bondsman, or a journalist gets the same current data from any entry point.
The pipeline under the hood
Cloud Radix built a custom integration into the Sheriff's Spillman Jail Management System — the records platform used by the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office. Spillman is a division of Motorola Solutions, and its records are the system of truth for every booking in the county.
Every five minutes, the Digital Deputy runs a five-step pipeline against Spillman and lands the result in the public-facing database. End-to-end, no human in the loop, no missed records.
Query Spillman for new and changed booking records since the last cycle.
Read the Spillman payload and extract every field — demographics, booking, charges, bond.
Split multi-charge bookings into one row per charge while preserving the booking relationship.
Normalize every field into the schema: types, units, formats, references.
Upsert the normalized records into the public database and refresh the search index.
Every field, mapped
The pipeline maps every Spillman field into the public schema: demographics, booking metadata, arresting agency, facility, and charges — including multi-charge bookings, statute references, classification level, bond type, bond amount, and total bond.
When an inmate has multiple charges, each charge is delimited and structured individually while staying linked to the parent booking. The roster card on the public site reflects exactly what Spillman shows — no information lost, no information added.
Example data is illustrative; the live roster on dekalbsheriff.in.gov is the source of truth.

Multi-charge bookings handled correctly. When Spillman returns an inmate with three charges, the Digital Deputy delimits each charge into its own structured row, preserves the booking parent, and totals the bond across all of them. The cadence stays the same: every five minutes, end to end.
The Sheriff and his staff log into a custom content management system built specifically for the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office. They can update any page, publish announcements, post community updates, and manage the site without touching code.
The Digital Deputy works alongside them inside the CMS — drafting, suggesting, formatting, and helping the staff publish faster than a traditional CMS ever allowed. The website isn't static and it isn't locked to the agency that built it; it's a living tool the Sheriff's Office runs themselves.
The Digital Deputy doesn't live in someone else's cloud. It runs on a dedicated AI Employee Box installed and configured inside the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office. Booking data, draft content, internal workflows — they stay on Sheriff's Office hardware, behind the Sheriff's Office network.
For a law enforcement agency, where chain of custody matters and public-data integrity is non-negotiable, on-premises is the only model that fits. The AI Employee Box is the model.
The DeKalb County Sheriff is extremely pleased with the work and has offered to serve as a reference for prospective Cloud Radix and Button Block clients. If you are evaluating us and want to speak with a sitting law enforcement leader who has deployed our AI Employee, custom CMS, and on-premises AI Employee Box in production, we can put you in touch directly.
Mention “DeKalb Sheriff reference” on your contact form and we will coordinate the introduction.
